Origins and History of wakefield.org

For many years, Wakefield resident and community activist Kory Hellmer owned the wakefield.org domain and used it to provide a comprehensive list of the many nonprofit and other community organizations here in Wakefield MA, as well as links to their websites. She also created, hosted and maintained websites for a number of organizations. Thank you, Kory, for all that you have done!

Times change and Kory needed to step down from many of her volunteer projects and responsibilities, including maintaining the list of community organzations and their contact info.

BUT, now it is back, along with a calendar so we can keep up with all the different groups and the many happenings in our town. There are so many great resources in town. The goal of this site is to help you find them all!
